Brief:

 

Using the available tools in the digital world makes the work of designing much more easier, but however the steps of having an idea is still as old as it was thousand years ago. It is all in the vision, knowledge and most importantly...Creativity.

 

Tools will always be tools, but Vision and Creativity is what counts the most.

Youth Olympic Workers Kitchen by Andreas (1st Prize)

In the early of 2014, the SEU university asked the elite students of the Architecture and Design department to take part of the YOG - Youth Olympic Games which will be held in Nanjing.

 

I came up with a modern and sustainable way to achieve this project, and hence being awarded the first prize of the competition. This project was featured on the School Homepage as well as other Universities such as Tongji, Shanghai.

[KIT] CHEN by Andreas

Protoype Design for the 2014 annual Nanjing SEU graduate project. [KIT] CHEN is the name given to the idea of a economic and yet modern kitchen made out of the shell of a 20ft shipping container.

 

Compact and yet provide space due to its smart folds and hinges.

 

The project was awarded, most original concept in 2014.

Nanjing Art Campus (Seniors - Juniors)

Andreas proposal for the Nanjing Art campus (senior/juniors).

This project got credits and honors from german architects and swedish architecture cabinets.

 

The project was titled "Artishot" onomatopoeia of the expensive french fruit :"artichaut"

 

This project won the first prize in Originality and Approach.

Children Contemporary Garden

This work was done for the annual competition of the young architects association. The project won titles such as the most original concept and innovative creations.

 

The shape of the design was based from a fetus combined with an x-ray view of a plant and the fluidity of the air. The shape of the entrance is the 2 alphabets C and G combined. The initials C and G is for Children Garden.

 

This project was awarded Best of the Best Design 2012, Most original Project and Best Hand Model 2012.
